Haha, we aren't super popular, usually at most about 30 people will come to the shows for US, we just get on good shows.
Last night was ridiculous. The first half awesome, the second not so much. If anyone is my facebook friend feel free to check out the note I wrote with the details, but long story short....
The show went freaking awesome, there were about 400 people there, the venue was AMAZING and sounded godly.
There was video, if it gets put up, I'll post it.
I quit the band on the spot after our set, apparently our singer and manager both lied to me to my face about the guest-list (normally at a show you can bring a few people in for free, this is great for expensive shows that you'd like your friends or family see!) I found out about this about 20 minutes after we loaded up after playing. They told me we had no guest-list beforehand, apparently there were 4 spots for 4 band members. Our manager and singer decided not to tell me so the manager could have my spot, resulting in me not having any friends to be there (it was a $20 show.) To add icing on top of that, they both sat there and lied to me for 10 minutes before I got the truth out of them, and they tried to turn it on me. So pissed.
BUT! I had a good time, and playing at that venue was awesome!

Dude, I wish I would have posted the twitter link for you! Sorry we haven't been around so much recently, in fact, we have been around, just so busy not to be able to drop in and say "hi!" so easily.
Nice one on getting that show, really, tooooo awesome. I actually saw New Found Glory about 6 years ago in London, Brixton Academy SO IT'S LIKE I WAS THERE.
Sorry about the band as well dude, you know there will be more stuff like that. It sucks that people can be so harsh and selfish. At least DVG is making a name for itself.

Flesh Eating Skin Disease? Hm? Or another one? But that's annoying. The manager and even your singer lied to you. That sucks, because one they were idiots for lying to you, and they lost an awesome guitarist.
But seriously. At least you're on the record for now, and some bands might be looking for a new member. :P

Well I get asked to play in bands all the time, but I'm pretty sure it's not what I want to do anymore. I see myself with a future in videogame music, it's all becoming very real right now.
I know enough about the music industry and record labels to want to avoid that lifestyle :P

Nice to have a clear path in front of you, I think you have real musical flair for games so I'm sure you'll do well.
Shame about the band, but I agree with your descision.
Good luck to you mate.
