Since last tuesday my computer screen turns black "no signal" every time i start World of Warcraft... i find this really anoying, because i have recently paid to start wow again, and... well, its annoying! :)
the only way to start my pc again is to shut down the power to the pc, and restart... (but my pc is pretty old so it takes like 7 minutes to fully restart it...)
so, is there a program blocking the game, or where should i look for the answers?
I would really appreciate your help, Dravirdude

That is quite weird. Usually when your screen goes black and says, "No Signal" it's when your screen isn't connected to your computer.
Since your computer is older, WoW might be trying to start and messing up our computer's older monitor driver (a driver is a thing that controls hardware). Maybe updating your driver would help? I'm sure Apple or Microsoft has how to on your computer and OS.
That's really all I can think of I guess.

That happened to me with another game about half a year ago. It was a new game and I tried to change for another copy of the same game, but it didn't work either. So I ended up changing to another game instead. But in your case that game has worked before, right? Strange...

I had that problem before!
Here's a list of why it could be doing that:
1. Your computer could be to old for WoW
2. Your computer could have a virus
3. You might be using the wrong browser (if on internet)
4. Or your monitor might not be connected to your tower
the right way, or all the way.
That's all the reasons i can think of.
Oh, and can someone bring "The Banned For Game" back
from the depths of the forum.Cuz I can't find it any where!!!!!

if it's still doing that, bring it to a computer shop and tell them your situation, they should know what to do

this part is easy it does that because you have been off the computer for 10-15 minutes just shake the mouse, also find a screensaver by right clikcing on your desktop and click Properties or Personalise and pick one If you have windows XP you can have a screensaver with any word or name or a sentence moving about.
What Driver?
i have a old Nividia 5500 they can run some 3D games but its not the best in the world .
i would get a Nividia 9500 or a Something in the 9 series here the link just copy and paste it into your adress bar.

Sounds like it's trying to run in a resolution that your monitor doesn't support. I've had this happen to me before (not with WoW, but with other computer games). I'd try to find out if there's a way to run it in windowed mode, it's usually about editing the shortcut to be like:
C:/path/to/WoW/wow.exe -fullscreen false
UPDATE: I found this, should be easy to fix if you read that forum post.
