Vegetarian protein information.

I'm not trying to convert anyone, do what you guys want! Josh eats meat, I have no issue with it and I don't bang on about it. You just need to know where your food comes from otherwise you don't really know what you're eating at all.

@Dolphinator your argument is terrible. If you kill your own animals to eat, then great. If you rely on a factory to do it for you, then I can guarantee it isn't anything like you imagined.

Eggs are considered vegetarian food?

Call me a hypocrite, but it's baby chickens that had their lives taken away from the start, :P

Lol, i'm not Vegan. Now, that I don't get.

It's surprising how heated a debate on vegetarianism can get when I'm tired.

And, I love eggs.

eggs mixed with asparagus, cheese, ham and salsa is my favorite breakfast in the world XD

max, i guess your right. but i really dont dwell on the fact that im eating animals.

i dont kill my house pets and eat them, and i dont kill chickens or cows. honestly i would never have the heart to do so, but i also dont have the heart to care if someone else does it for me. (that sounds harsh, but most of you dont either...besides max XD)

i have actually witnessed the stripping of meat and killing of cows though. and like i said, its done with the gun. but still, i eat meat and dont mind. i have my thesis, witch obviously isnt agreeable with you, but it works for me XD

When I read that, I just pictured a dolphin going around slaughtering his cats and dogs. What pets do you have? You have a cat, right?

eggs count as vegan because the hens are kept away from males making babyless eggs.unless they lied about that.

It's cool man. I don't mind at all, we all have our things. I'm not a very argumentative vegetarian, but, since I have tried to understand a bit about all aspects of how we get to eat things, it has made me quite interested in what I actually do eat in the end and what foods will give the best "bang per buck".

I actually try and eat foods that are known to increase brain activity and stuff. I totally notice it when I'm eating well. I can actually focus on stuff, I can think properly and I feel good.

Otherwise, I eat really badly and I feel like crap. I guess it's just somewhat interesting to me and part of that is being vegetarian, I don't even really notice because I never actually ate that much meat before.

i agree that animals are treated poorly but i dont think meat is necessarily bad for you as was mentioned before. Yes, many of the meats available to us today are bad for us because they are processed or injected with steroids and loads of other junk. Meat , if properly taken care of cooked well enough and not exposed to harmful drugs is good for us in moderation.

we have to remember that mankind survived mostly from grazing and only had meat sparingly as they were able to catch animals so our body doesnt need as much meat as we consume daily. but thats not to say we dont need it, we just abuse it along with most other things we as humans enjoy.
