Nevermind I got an invite. It works on Firefox.
It looks like the only way to earn points is the game you play on sign up and adding friends and answering the Daily question and you get points for just going there each day!.
I have 22 points, 18 from the game, 2 for going on and 2 for answering the daily poll I think.
