Well, when you're a mod you get the following "powers":
Ability to delete anyone's posts or topics
Ability to edit anyone's post or topic titles
Ability to ban anyone
Access to the serect mod forum
I think they can also uprate and downrate anyone as way times as they want
And maybe more! Thoughs are all the ones that I know.
Mods also get that cute icon.

That's a common mistake. It is actually a Wigglytuff, which Jigglypuff evloves into through the use of a Moon Stone.

Basically Max agreed that we need users with special powers to monitor the users of JTS. The seven Mods started as just basic users, but they displayed respect and were active. The orginial class of Mods was me, AnarchyDom, Thedavidcarney, Dravirdude, and nelson. Prettypyrate and Supergrover were added this week.
Right now there is no further need for more mods. if I had to nominate a new Mod, it would be Runey.
