HighSpeedChase Update Coming
This isn't one of our secret projects, just consider it a bonus! We're always playing our games and listening to feedback from all our players (including you). HighSpeedChase is really fun on the iPhone but it still hasn't hit its potential. We thought, lets dust it off and shine it a little more!
Here's what you can look forward to in 1.2 —
- Alternate control system (touch based, for when you want to play lying down)
- Slow down and dust when you hit the dirt
- Jumps
- Physics objects (barrels, fencing etc)
- More to be announced!

Tiga Feature
Tiga, the trade association for the games industry in the UK are launching their new website next week and who gets to be the golden developer? JohnnyTwoShoes.
I've just written up some text that's going on the site and it should give players another insight into JTS. It's all coming together!
The Heist 2 Complete
We're not exactly at E3 but we've been excited to hear the announcements so far from Microsoft and we're looking forward to hearing what Nintendo and Sony are showing later today.
You'll be pleased to hear that we're announcing The Heist 2 is now complete and the super mega final version will be with beta testers before release so we can make sure medals, scoring and other items are fixed. In the past we've had some trouble with medals not always working correctly, this is an awesome opportunity to get this right first time.
We really want to thank beta testers for their outstanding efforts in testing this game, it's not been easy nor glamorous as it may seem. So, thanks a lot to all that helped, it really made a difference to the quality of the game.
As soon as I know a release date, you'll know a release date!
Introducing Spaceman
Since JohnnyTwoShoes started, we've always wanted something that represents what we do without words. Today we're unveiling our new identity and intro screen with Spaceman!
Props to our friend David Carney who did the audio (the same talented guy that did audio for The Great Sperm Race and Banana Dash World 4).

May 19th: Roundup
We've actually ramped development on our secret projects but we've had to take some time the last few days refreshing The Heist 2. We've been adding new sounds, tutorial elements and updating/tweaking gameplay so it's getting ever closer for release. AG have told us the API is 1 - 2 weeks away still, but it's possible it will launch without the API for now.
Tomorrow, I'll be doing my bit for JohnnyTwoShoes and answering some questions from Tiga — the trade organisation for game developers in the UK. It's a video "interview" of sorts and if there's a version online soon, I'll post it up here so you can have a look.
May 12th: Roundup
Today we've been working really hard on 3 different projects. 2 are secret, but the other is something you all know and love — The Heist 2!
We have a new file delivery system that not only lets us measure game performance more accurately but also let's us control access to preview content. This means we can start inviting more players to The Heist 2 preview again.
Our twitter has just had a facelift, we're showing off some of our new branding that we've been working on in preparation for The Heist 2 launch. Let us know what you think right here and for the latest in JTS world be sure to follow us.
The site went through quite a big overhaul today so if you notice anything strange, please let us know!

Expected Downtime and Updates
I just got word from MediaTemple that they're replacing some network hardware so we will have 5 - 20 minutes of downtime at some point today. Hopefully, it will be closer to 5 minutes.

Updates! I made a nice update to the leaderboard yesterday. It now shows your forum rating score, and if the player is a JohnnyTwoShoes Partner or Moderator. Check out the new leaderboard.
And We're Back...
That was probably the most frustrating 24 hours on record, but, mediatemple have been more than supportive in what was a whole bunch of hardware problems their end. We've moved to new servers that shouldn't have this kind of down time in future.
We've been keeping twitter updated the entire time with news as we got it and llllost has been humming along with updates too. So we weren't really gone at all!
